Many midstream facilities are excluded from PSM coverage. Nonetheless, some companies have begun to apply the best practice of conducting PHAs/LOPA on PSM and non-PSM covered facilities. This paper will look at examples of how a major midstream company developed an internal design standard that can be used toward the development of a midstream gas processing-specific process design RAGAGEP.
